(APPLICATION CLOSED) HKIHA receives invitation to participate in the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games.
Male or female players born in 2008 – 2009 and holds HKSAR Passport are eligible to play in this tournament.
Tournament will be on:
Date: Jan 19 – Feb 1, 2024
Venue: Gangwon, South Korea
Categories:
1. Men’s 6-Team Tournament
2. Women’s 6-Team Tournament
(Number of athletes: 18 athletes – 15 players + 3 goalies)
3. Men’s 3-on-3 Tournament
4. Women’s 3-on-3 Tournament
(Number of athletes: 13 athletes – 11 players + 2 goalies)
Given that HKIHA is entitled to send 1 team only in any 1 of the above categories, the category with the number of applicants that reached the requirement (as shown above) will be considered.
If there is more than 1 category that reached the required number of athletes, the category that most applicants with international experience will be considered.
If the number of applicant for the category exceeds the requirement, selection will be based on “The Guidelines of Team Hong Kong Athletes Selection”.
